Seed Hawk Featured in Farming Simulator 2017

(Langbank, SK) Show attendees at this year’s Canada’s Farm Progress Show in Regina had the opportunity to take a 980 Air Cart and XL Toolbar for a test drive, with Seed Hawk’s Farming Simulator game display.

Farming Simulator, the number 1 farming simulation video game series developed by GIANTS Software, can now be complimented with a Seed Hawk Seeding System.

Farming Simulator is the largest and most advanced farming simulation game ever made. As a player, you are challenged in the role of a farmer running your own farm by managing land, preparing the soil, seeding crops, expanding animal production, and carrying out other farm-related duties, which even includes buying and selling of farm land.

In 2016, Seed Hawk was approached by GIANTS Software with the great opportunity to showcase our products in a DLC (downloadable content) for their 2017 Farming Simulator game. GIANTS Software was on the hunt for ‘very big machines’ to accompany the Big Bud 747, one of the biggest tractors in the world, in their Big Bid DLC game extension. Seed Hawk’s 980 Air Cart and 84’ XL Toolbar sparked their interest immediately.

The Big Bud DLC was released on May 9, 2017, and is available for download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC & Mac. The DLC is also included within the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Season Pass offer.

This is the debut for Seed Hawk in the Farming Simulator game series, but Väderstad has been featured in the Farming Simulator game for many years, with machines like the Carrier, Rapid, Rapid A, Tempo and TopDown. There is even an extension that exists for only Väderstad machines (Väderstad DLC), which includes all five machines mentioned above.

Seed Hawk showcased a Farming Simulator game display at this year’s Canada’s Farm Progress Show in Regina, giving show attendees of all ages the opportunity to test their seeding skills with friends and family.
