Redhead Equipment Celebrates Prince Albert Grand Opening, Yielding Largest Field of the Future Donation Ever

Prince Albert, SK – While celebrating the grand opening of their new Prince Albert facility, Redhead Equipment presented a cheque to the Victoria Hospital Foundation for $54,094.19 for funds raised from the 2016 Field of the Future. Chosen by Redhead Equipment employees, these years’ funds will support Herb Bassett Home, the largest long-term care facility in the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region.

Although the crop harvested was smaller than past years at 140 acres, a tremendous canola crop helped raise more money than any year before. “We’re extremely proud of this year’s Field of the Future efforts,” says Arron McLean, Sales Manager of the Agricultural Division at Redhead Equipment in Prince Albert. “Herb Bassett Home provides exceptional care to those who need it most. We’re thrilled that proceeds can help provide the best care possible to the residents,” he adds.

Sherry Buckler, Victoria Hospital Foundation Executive Director was present to share in the grand opening celebration and accept the cheque: “The Victoria Hospital Foundation, along with the Herb Bassett Home, congratulates and thanks Redhead Equipment for supporting our local community in a powerful way.” She adds, “It’s been many years since the home has been able to update and enhance their outdated furnishings and equipment for their residents. Due to the hard work and outstanding generosity of the Field of the Future campaign, our residents will now be able to enjoy a much greater quality of life.”

After its fourth year, Field of the Future has raised over $178,000 for local organizations that support Prince Albert communities. Redhead Equipment would like to thank sponsors and everyone who contributed to another successful Field of the Future crop.

Redhead Equipment also celebrated the grand opening of their new Prince Albert facility. Located on Highway 11 South, this newly built 60,000 square foot facility features two 18,000 square foot service shops, connected by a state-of-the-art office space. The convenience of this building’s premium placement, combined with expanded product offerings and fully-equipped amenities, will accommodate their customer’s needs now, and position Redhead Equipment to support business growth in the Prince Albert area well into the future.
