Employee Spotlight – Milestones
Redhead Equipment thrives because of our employees and we would like to recognize a few hitting significant milestone years in our Employee Spotlight Feature: John Oneschuk, Greg Bunko, Craig Slobodian and Gord Janzen.
Redhead Equipment thanks them for their dedication to the company and their continued services over the years!
John Oneschuk, Construction Equipment Territory Manager, Saskatoon, 45 years

John started work with Redhead Equipment 45 years ago. He spent six years as a Shop & Field Technician, three years as the Shop Foreman, 17 years as the Service Manager and the past 19 years in Construction Equipment Sales.
John was also on the Heavy Equipment Repair Trade advisory board and the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship Curriculum & Examination board for 20 years. John enjoys meeting and working with customers.
A few of his customers started out by renting then purchasing one piece of equipment, and today they have become some of our biggest customers. John has developed a lot of relationships through customers. He says “customers stick with the longevity that Redhead Equipment has built.”
Greg Bunko, TechLine, Saskatoon, 45 years

Greg started at Redhead Equipment 45 years ago working as a Service Technician, working on the floor and on the road quite often.
From there he moved into the office as the Lead Hand and further on to Shop Foreman and eventually Service Manager. Then a position opened up in the TechLine office and he was asked to come up; he accepted. Greg officially started with Techline in 2009 and has been working in the role ever since.
We asked Greg why he likes working for Redhead Equipment and he had to mention the amount of opportunity that arises. If you stick it out and stay on board there is always opportunity to grow throughout the organization.
Craig Slobodian, Construction Corporate Sales Manager, Regina, 25 years

Craig started working for Redhead Equipment 25 years ago as the Assistant Controller focusing on accounting, payroll, and some Human Resources duties.
The company was much smaller back then, under 100 employees and the position covered a lot of ground. He then became the Regional Sales Manager for Southern Saskatchewan, and has since become the Corporate Sales Manager for Construction.
We asked Craig why he has stayed with Redhead for so many years and he said it’s a family culture, “The staff and customers feel like family, lots of friendships are made, its way more than a business.”
Gord Janzen – Warranty Administrator, 20 Years, Swift Current

Gord Janzen has worked with Redhead Equipment for 20 years as a Warranty Administrator for our Construction and Agriculture divisions.
On the daily his role entails reconciling warranty credits, submitting warranty claims, shipping warranty parts, and so on. Occasionally his job faces challenges, for example when a work order is provided with missing information, and in order to process the warranty claim he needs to find the missing information.
Gord says the best part of the job is hearing customers say they like dealing with Redhead Equipment because of our customer service. “I particularly enjoy our hutterite customers, when they come in they are always so friendly and easy to talk to.”
