Employee Spotlight – Kandice Moss

Kandice Moss, Parts Administrator – Swift Current, 12 years

Kandice started with Redhead Equipment 12 years ago after graduating college with a certificate in Business Administration and has since worked as the parts administrator in our Swift Current branch. Her role consists of completing daily parts orders; coding invoices, payroll duties, as well as other paperwork and reports required to make the parts department run better as a whole. She is a constant sounding board for any demand that is related to the department.  Every now and again there are short orders and discrepancies that need to be sorted out. “Sometimes it is challenging to identify and correct those errors, but we work together as a team to overcome them.”

Kandice says working at Redhead has been rewarding, she enjoys her job and the role gives her a sense of accomplishment, “knowing that when my job is done properly, it helps for other procedures to run smoothly.”

 When asked about our tagline ‘Whatever it takes’ she had to say  “our whole parts department is an example, it doesn’t matter the time of day or distance away, for our customers we will go out of the way to help get the job done.”

We asked Kandice what has kept her working with Redhead Equipment for so long and she said because she enjoys her work and her co-workers are good company, it’s hard to leave.

Can you tell us something that might surprise us about you?

I grew up on a farm loving to help my dad work, fix and build things and go hunting every fall.

What might you find yourself doing with an hour of free time?

Go for a run, or spend extra time with my son.
