Employee Spotlight – Gord Janzen

Gord Janzen – Warranty Administrator, 20 Years, Swift Current

Gord Janzen has worked with Redhead Equipment for over 20 years as a Warranty Administrator for our Construction and Agriculture divisions. On the daily, his role entails reconciling warranty credits, submitting warranty claims, shipping warranty parts, and other related tasks. Occasionally his job faces challenges, like when a work order is provided with missing information – he needs to find it in order to process the warranty claim.

Gord thinks the best part of the job is hearing customers say they like dealing with Redhead Equipment because of our customer service: “I particularly enjoy our Hutterite customers. When they come in they are always so friendly and easy to talk to.”

Gord says he enjoys working at Redhead Equipment and that his colleagues are easy going, it feels like a family friendly atmosphere. “The company has treated me well, I work with good people and management is good too,” he says. “I enjoy what I do, looking up information and trying to maximize recovery for the customer is fulfilling.”

What may surprise us about you?

I enjoy doing volunteer work with kids and senior populations.

What do you do in your free time?

Motorbike, walk, read outside. Some gardening and working in the dirt.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a farmer when I grew up, that didn’t work out but now I work for our Saskatchewan farmers.

Are you related to any of the other Janzen’s that work at Redhead Equipment?

Jim Janzen is my brother, Eric Janzen is my nephew.
