Employee Spotlight – Frazer Romanuik
Frazer Romanuik, Agriculture Territory Manager, Melfort – 5 years
Frazer has been working with Redhead Equipment for five years now in Melfort and worked for Moker & Thompson for ten years prior to the Redhead Equipment acquisition. Frazer says “Ag Sales has been a big part of my life, dealing with farmer’s every day.” His daily role involves talking to as many customers as he can, making connections and selling Agriculture equipment. In the Melfort branch he says “the staff is made up of people from the local community, some of our staff farm part time or help with family farms and stay involved within the community.” Although the job can be rewarding helping customers and providing the right product to suit their needs and grow their business it always comes with its challenges; “the economy and constantly changing weather affecting seeding or harvest costs can be a huge challenge for farmers and in turn for Ag Sales. We do as much as we can to help come up with solutions and to make them more profitable.”
We asked Frazer what he thinks has contributed to the longevity or Redhead Equipment as a whole and he said “Gary Redhead’s philosophy in general; very community involved and I think that attitude filters into the staff and even into the customers. As the company grows its more of an opportunity for customers as it provides more access to products and services.” Frazer said our tagline ‘Whatever It Takes’ is suitable as no one is afraid to go to work, and give the extra time throughout the day or week to ensure the work gets done. Frazer also says “the Sales team tries to provide more services and products to our customers, trying to bring forth innovations to improve their businesses” which contributes to the vision and direction of the company and that’s something he will always be a part of.
