Employee Spotlight – Chuck Miles
Chuck Miles, Territory Manager – Forestry, Saskatoon 25 years
Chuck has been working with Redhead Equipment for 25 years where he started as a road mechanic. Five to six years into the role, a sales position opened and being told he had the gift of gab, enjoyed the people and knew the product well, he was offered the position. His second year working in sales he moved into Forestry and is the only sales man for the department therefore enjoys being able to run things his way. After dedicating half his life to the company he has a sense of pride in seeing the brand around the province and providing exceptional customer service.
A regular week in his position starts with getting paperwork done and organized followed by scheduling visits with customers and maintaining relationships. Chuck says “in sales we set the bar really high for service and satisfaction with customers and sometimes it’s a challenge to always maintain that level of service.” The biggest rewards however of working in sales are the relationships you build with customers, gaining the repeat business and finding a solution to the problem for our customers.
Chuck says in his experience at Redhead he has always been treated well and the staff are great, which are a few of the reasons he continues to work with Redhead Equipment. He claims the top-notch customer service and support, good people and good products are what have contributed to the longevity of Redhead Equipment.
When we asked Chuck what he thinks of the tagline “Whatever It Takes” he said it’s definitely on going. “Our people will go endure the worst weather and work overtime to get the job done and do whatever it takes daily.”
