We are committed to giving back.
Giving Back Is In Our Roots
Redhead Equipment is proud to be an active member of the community and the province of Saskatchewan. We are committed to supporting charities and community organizations across our province each year through sponsorship, donations and participation. As a locally owned and operated company, we have a responsibility to support the communities we live in. From hospital foundations and shelters to youth sports and community outreach, we support organizations that assist and enrich the lives of our staff, customers and community.
Redhead Equipment helps keep STARS in the sky
Since it’s Saskatchewan launch in 2012, we have supported Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society (STARS). STARS provides people the vital care they need, when they need it the most. Whether it’s offering hands-on training to rural medical providers or providing rapid, emergency medical transportation for the critically ill and injured, they operate 24/7 from bases in Calgary, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Regina, Saskatoon and Winnipeg, anticipating and acting when people need their help.
In 2012, we helped STARS secure its first hangar – and home base – in Regina. Shortly after in 2014, we committed $1 million to support their operations. In 2017, we committed to an additional $1 million. Along with these commitments, we support their A Night With Stars Gala in Regina each year, and supporting other activities.
Together with STARS, we are committed to assisting people and families in their greatest time of need.
Keeping families together at Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan
At their house in Saskatoon and their Family Room in Prince Albert’s Victoria Hospital, Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan (RMHS) provides accommodation for families of sick children traveling away from their home to receive medical treatment. Redhead Equipment supports RMHS through different initiatives each year, including supporting capital campaigns, sponsoring and attending their Ladies Golf Classic. In 2018 our Prince Albert Field of the Future charity crop raised over $23,000 in support of the Family Room in the Prince Albert Victoria Hospital PEDS Unit. In 2019, we donated $12,000 from our Saskatoon charity crop to assist with the kitchen renovations at Ronald McDonald House in Saskatoon.
In 2019 we were proud to help the Saskatchewan Heavy Construction Association raise over $100,000 for RHMS through their annual convention charity auction, making the announcement at our Saskatoon branch.
Since 2010, our contribution has reached over $1 million to Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan. Their organization is a lifeline for families of sick children across Saskatchewan and we’re proud of our continued support.
