Prince Albert Field of the Future Yields Most Successful Year Ever

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2015 – PRINCE ALBERT, SK: Redhead Equipment is thrilled to announce the 2015 Field of the Future raised a grand total of $53,931.66 for Buckland Emergency Services. This makes it the most successful year to date.

“Getting to see the Buckland Fire and Rescue organization, the amazing individuals who volunteer their time there, and all the ways they help the people in our community has been a very rewarding experience,” said Arron McLean, Sales Manager with Redhead Equipment in Prince Albert. “We couldn’t have chosen a better group of people to work with this year.”

This is the third year running the Field of the Future program, where proceeds from a local crop are donated to a well-deserving charity or organization in the Prince Albert area. This initiative headed up by Redhead Equipment is a testament to contributions from a variety of local organizations, including Case IH, Co-op Farm Supply, Monsanto, BASF, Northern Fringe, MacDon, Fremont Trucking, Seed Hawk, TagTeam, Dow AgroSciences, Farm Credit Canada and MarkIt Signs.

“We would like to thank all of our sponsors for the tremendous support once again this year. Each year this field seems to “grow” beyond our expectations. We could not pull this off without their support; I don’t think I can emphasize our appreciation enough.”

The funds raised this year will assist Buckland Emergency Services in purchasing new rescue equipment, including a side by side ATV and taking additional farm rescue training.

The Field of the Future has now raised $124,000 for local organizations since 2013.
