Redhead Equipment Swift Current Awarded Bourgault's Highest Standard in Customer Service

Local Dealership Receives Top Honours in Four Different Categories, Including Sales & Customer Relations

REGINA, SK – March 16, 2016 – Redhead Equipment capped off a successful 2015 of exemplary sales and service at the recent Bourgault Industries Dealer Day. The Swift Current branch of the Saskatchewan-wide heavy equipment dealership was awarded Top Sales Location for Bourgault in North America; Top Customer Relations Dealer in Southern Saskatchewan (Lorne Ozipko’s Territory); Top Salesperson by Territory (Shaun Zakaluzny, representing Lorne Ozipko’s territory); and the Top Salesperson in North America Award in honour of Wendell Watchorn (Shaun Zakaluzny).

As an annual event, Dealer Day is an opportunity for the more than 120 Bourgault dealerships across North America to gather in one place and receive recognition for their accomplishments in sales and service over the past year.

“I’ve visited a lot of dealers that have won these awards in the past, and I find that the plaques are often displayed quite prominently,” said Scott Lessmeister, North American Sales Manager for Bourgault Industries. “These awards are more than just temporary accolades; they add a lot of credibility to the dealership and provide customers with confidence in who they’re working with.”

Though they had previously received sales awards from Bourgault, this is the first time Redhead Equipment was recognized as the Top Customer Relations Dealer in North America. Unlike the Top Sales Location awards which are determined by sales figures, this award is based upon a number of different criteria related to customer service and satisfaction. “Dealers will often call me following the awards to ask about the criteria for our Service award. It’s certainly a highly-sought after honour,” added Lessmeister.

This acknowledgment was a welcomed addition by Redhead Equipment Swift Current’s Agricultural Sales Manager, Blake Kohls. “This is one of the more meaningful and important awards we could have received, because it really speaks to the quality of our staff and the relationship we have with our customers – how we go above and beyond to serve their operations and maintain their uptime,” said Kohls. Corporate Agricultural Sales Manager, Al Carey, seconded that thought. “This customer focus and ‘whatever it takes’ mentality is something we try to live every day as a company. I think it shows across the board, from our service staff, sales coordinators, territory managers, and everyone in between.”

Kohls continued: “We pride ourselves on being a Bourgault dealer, because the quality of their products really comes out when you see the crops in the fields. Our customers are always more than pleased with stand establishment, germination, and seed and fertilizer placement. Bourgault has always been a leader in seeding and innovation and its product line is something we’re proud to offer customers of Redhead Equipment.”

Territory Manager Shaun Zakaluzny received two accolades: Top Salesperson by Territory and Top Salesperson in North America, an award which is presented every year in honour of Wendell Watchorn, one of the top Bourgault salesmen in company history.

Redhead Equipment Swift Current has consistently placed second out of North America’s Top Ten Dealers, but 2015 marked the first year since 2011 that the dealership came out on top in terms of sales.
